Summary of the Financial Wisdom Workshop and next steps

Thank you for attending our financial workshop. Below are a few reminders about what we covered and what your next steps should be.

• Make a One-year commitment to choose responsible spending over fun spending.

• Download and review the financial seminar material.

• Create your budget.

• In the budget, highlight and remove all non-essential spending. Apply 50% of those funds to your savings and the other 50% to pay down credit card debt.

• For the next 12 months, create a secondary monthly source of income and add those funds to your savings, and to pay down debt.

• Establish a monthly savings goal for the next 12 months.

• Establish a monthly goal to pay down your debt in 2025.

• Submit your monthly touch-base by the 1st of the month for the previous month.

• And for every expenditure during the next twelve months ask yourself the following questions:

  • Is this a wise expenditure in light of my financial goals?

  • Do my expenditures honor God?

I know that if you are willing to make the necessary financial sacrifices over the next 12 months you will reap the benefits of more savings, less debt, and a lot less stress.

Our next financial workshop will be on April 28th, and will focus on growing and investing from your savings account.
